Before spending several years working as an educator and community development worker in Canada, South Africa, and Mozambique, Jonathan Durand studied Political Science and Philosophy at McGill. Since 2009, he has been living and working as a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and photographer in Montreal, while researching and producing “Memory Is Our Homeland”, his first feature-length film.
